Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner for its Kingsteignton setting. You will support children through play, care, and connection, helping them feel confident to explore their world and grow.

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or QTS) and bring a warm, attentive approach, a solid understanding of the EYFS, and a commitment to safeguarding. Join a welcoming team dedicated to every child's development.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS.
• Experience with EYFS and learning through play.
• Caring, attentive approach to each child's needs.

Responsibilities

• Create warm, inclusive environments where children feel safe and valued.
• Plan and support engaging play-based experiences shaped around children's interests and needs.
• Observe development and track progress to support next steps.
• Build strong relationships with families and share updates.
• Support routines including meals, personal care, and rest.
• Uphold safeguarding, hygiene and children's wellbeing standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues, apprentices and volunteers.
