Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner at our London Tressillian Road site. You will support children through play, care, and connection, getting to know their interests and helping them grow in a nurturing environment.

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 EY qualification (or QTS) and bring a caring, curious approach to EYFS learning, safeguarding, and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

Understanding of EYFS and how children learn through play
Ability to observe development and plan next steps
Commitment to safeguarding and high standards of care

Responsibilities

Create a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based experiences aligned with the EYFS
Observe, record and use progress to support development
Build trusting relationships with families and share updates
Support daily routines including meals and personal care
Ensure safeguarding, safety, hygiene and wellbeing are priorities
Collaborate with colleagues and guide apprentices and volunteers
