Join our brand-new MOT Testing Team at Fibre Networking Solutions Ltd – the UK’s Best Vendor/Supplier, as recognised at the 2024 UK Fibre Awards! We're a rapidly growing company with big ambitions and we're now expanding into our own fleet management and public vehicle services.

As part of this growth, we’re setting up a dedicated tyre fitting and MOT service at our new Cheltenham-based unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to be part of something new, with excellent career development potential.

What We’re Looking For

As an MOT Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring vehicles on the road meet the required safety and environmental standards. Your mechanical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in performing MOT tests accurately, identifying potential safety hazards, and helping maintain compliance with DVSA (formerly VOSA) regulations.

You’ll also contribute to a safe and efficient working environment by keeping your workspace clean and organised, while completing all documentation to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations and standards.
  • Inspect key components of vehicles for roadworthiness, safety, and compliance with emissions regulations.
  • Identify, document, and report any defects or failures found during the MOT process.
  • Ensure all MOT documentation is completed accurately, clearly, and promptly, including test logs and certificates.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient testing area at all times.
  • Keep up to date with MOT testing requirements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Valid MOT licence (with at least 6 months’ experience and 100+ tests completed).
