Job summary

Protocol Education are partnering with Brent secondary schools to recruit a qualified Female PE Teacher to join their team. You’ll deliver engaging PE lessons, assess progress and support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, with possible KS5 depending on experience.

You’ll plan inclusive lessons, promote sport and healthy lifestyles, lead extracurricular activities, and collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the PE department and school community.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education in UK secondary schools
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 depending on experience)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured PE lessons
  • Developing students' fitness, teamwork and resilience through a broad PE curriculum
  • Assessing progress and giving meaningful feedback

We're working with welcoming Secondary Schools in Brent looking for a qualified and experienced Female PE Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident educator who can hit the ground running, deliver high-quality PE lessons and make a positive impact from day one.

What you’ll be doing
  • Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils to enjoy sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles
  • Developing students' fitness, confidence, teamwork and resilience through a broad and inclusive PE curriculum
  • Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping every student achieve their personal best
  • Leading and supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sporting events
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a thriving PE department and wider school community
What we’re looking for
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification – this role is not suitable for unqualified teachers
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education in UK secondary schools
  • The confidence and expertise to deliver engaging PE lessons independently from the outset
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to motivate pupils of all abilities
  • A genuine passion for promoting sport, physical wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
