Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a passionate PE Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Portsmouth. The role is full-time and starts as soon as possible, with potential to continue long term for the right educator.

You will deliver PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour positively and contribute to an inclusive learning environment. Applications from Early Career Teachers are welcomed.

Are you an enthusiastic PE Teacher who can inspire young people to develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical education?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Portsmouth to recruit a passionate PE Teacher. The position is due to begin as soon as possible and is available on a full-time basis, with the potential to continue long term for the right educator.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils of different abilities to participate, progress and enjoy physical activity. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, manage behaviour positively and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The school is looking for a motivated and reliable teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people. Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status or an appropriate teaching qualification and have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting. Applications from Early Career Teachers are also welcomed, provided they demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm and effective classroom management.
