TeacherActive is seeking an experienced History Teacher for day-to-day supply and long-term contracts in South Wiltshire, starting January 2027. The role covers teaching History to KS4, with focus on engaging lessons, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community.

Flexible placement options include short-term daily bookings and longer contracts for continuity. Candidates should hold QTS with History, have strong classroom management, and be able to plan, deliver, assess and adapt

Qualificações

• Proven ability to manage classrooms and positive behaviour in a secondary setting.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Experience planning, delivering and assessing History lessons.
• Willingness to work flexibly across supply and long-term placements.

Opportunities will be available from September 2026 and may range from individual day-to-day bookings to long-term contracts providing greater continuity within one school.

The successful qualified History Teacher will have:

• QTS with History specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
