TeacherActive is seeking qualified History Teachers for day-to-day supply and long-term contract opportunities across South Wiltshire and surrounding areas, commencing January 2027. Roles suit those who enjoy flexible scheduling, varied placements and supporting students to reach their academic potential.

Successful candidates will hold QTS with History, teach up to KS4, and deliver inclusive lessons while maintaining strong classroom management and assessment practices.

This is an excellent opportunity to bring History to life by evaluating evidence, building chronological understanding and developing well-reasoned arguments. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Opportunities will be available from September 2026 and may range from individual day-to-day bookings to long-term contracts providing greater continuity within one school.
