Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury seeking a History Teacher for a long-term, full-time role with an immediate start. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining strong classroom management to drive student progress.

The role requires QTS with History specialism and experience teaching KS3/KS4; enjoy a supportive environment and market-leading pay. On-site location in BL0, contract: temporary, full-time.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury, who are looking to appoint a History Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful History Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining strong classroom management and supporting students to make academic progress.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the History curriculum
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
