Job summary

Morgan Law is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join a well-established public sector organisation in Berkshire for an 18‑month period. This role requires an in-person presence on-site for the majority of hours, with full-time or 0.8 FTE options.

You will provide expert employment relations guidance, support managers, and drive HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment law and organisational policies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering HR advice in complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and policies.
• Proven track record managing employee relations casework.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• CIPD qualification or working towards.
• Experience in a large, public sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR guidance across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance and absence.
• Support recruitment and policy development.
• Advise managers to ensure regulatory compliance and best practice.
• Collaborate on organisational projects to raise management capability.
