Job summary

Morgan Law is recruiting an experienced HR Adviser to join a well-established public sector organisation in Berkshire. The role focuses on delivering professional, commercially minded HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and casework.

You will work on-site for most hours, supporting managers and staff, and may consider full-time or 0.8 FTE. The role requires knowledge of UK employment law and practical HR best practice in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations case management experience across a range of formal and informal processes.
• Experience providing pragmatic and solutions-focused HR advice to managers and employees.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence, challenge constructively and build credibility at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage and advise on employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, restructuring).
• Support recruitment and selection activity and advise on policy and procedure.
• Contribute to organisational projects and develop people management capability across the organisation.
