Job summary

Morgan Law client is seeking an experienced HR Adviser for a well-established public sector organisation in Berkshire. The role is on-site for the majority of hours, with options for full-time or 0.8 FTE, and an 18-month duration.

You will be a trusted HR partner, advising managers and employees on complex people matters and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. You'll lead on employee relations casework, support recruitment, advise on policy, and contribute to organisational projects

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering high-quality HR guidance in a complex organisation.
• Experience managing employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, restructuring).
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to managers and staff across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage and advise on employee relations casework to minimise risk and achieve outcomes.
• Support recruitment, policy advice, and organisational projects; develop people management capability.
