Job summary

Morgan Law in Reading seeks an experienced HR Partner to provide strategic and operational HR expertise within a large, unionised public sector environment. This role focuses on employee relations, policy guidance and partnering with senior managers to drive organisational change.

The role requires strong in-person presence on-site in Berkshire, with a high-touch advisory approach and a track record in complex casework and employment law.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering HR services in large, complex public sector organisations.
• Strong employee relations expertise with handling complex casework.
• Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven ability to partner with senior managers and coach through sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR advice to senior managers across allocated business areas.
• Lead on complex and sensitive employee relations casework (discipline, grievances, capability, absence, restructuring).
• Use workforce data to identify trends and support workforce planning and performance improvements.
• Contribute to policy development and wider people initiatives to ensure compliant, effective HR practices.
