Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive to own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—focused on education and public health sectors. You will blend technical curiosity with value-based selling to demonstrate Elastic’s platform across search, observability, and security to diverse stakeholders.

You will partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals, identify new use cases, and develop strategic plans

Qualifications

• Proven SaaS subscription sales success in the education sector.
• Experience acquiring new logos with a track record.
• Ability to articulate Elastic’s value to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive Adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search solutions within new Mid-Market accounts and deepen engagement with existing ones.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help customers transform data into actionable insights.
• Speak fluently about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures to position Elastic as the platform of choice.
• Move beyond simple transactions to address complex data challenges for customers.
• Advocate for Open-Source offerings while highlighting commercial features.
