Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Public Sector Account Executive to expand our footprint within UK Defence. You will drive demand for Elastic solutions across Observability, Search and Security while engaging with Defence primes and stakeholders.

You will also articulate the value of our Open Source approach alongside commercial features, build strategic relationships, and close complex transactions with government customers.

Qualifications

• Defence market sales track record with quota overachievement.
• Experience selling SaaS including Enterprise Search, Logging, Security, APM and Cloud.
• Ability to build credibility with Defence stakeholders and navigate the sector.
• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness and drive demand for Elastic solutions within the Defence sector.
• Act as evangelist for Open Source offerings while demonstrating commercial features to stakeholders.
• Uncover diverse use cases and maximize value for customers.
• Collaborate across Elastic functions to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Identify new business opportunities within Defence, manage the sales cycle and close complex transactions.
• Develop a robust business plan through community, customer and partner ecosystems to grow Elastic in your territory.
