Job summary

Sopwell House in Hertfordshire is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our dedicated housekeeping team. This full-time role (40 hours) involves keeping public areas immaculate and welcoming, from corridors to guest toilets, with a focus on teamwork and pride in service.

You will work shifts between 8:00am and 7:30pm, uphold the highest standards, and contribute to creating a memorable guest experience. Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is valued, as is a proactive, friendly

Your role in our family:

• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest area is immaculate and welcoming

• Take primary responsibility for maintaining public areas, including corridors, stairwells, and guest toilets, to the highest standard at all times


• Support the wider housekeeping operation by stocking supply carts, assisting with deep cleaning projects
