Job summary

Sopwell House in Hertfordshire, a luxurious 5-star Georgian country house hotel, is seeking a Public Area Attendant for a full-time 40-hour week. Shifts typically run between 8:00am and 7:30pm, with a schedule that varies to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong eye for detail and a natural team player.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication across hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest area is immaculate and welcoming
• Take pride in being part of our exceptional housekeeping team, where attention to detail and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do
• Take primary responsibility for maintaining public areas, including corridors, stairwells, and guest toilets, to the highest standard at all times
• Support the wider housekeeping operation by stocking supply carts, assisting with deep cleaning projects
• Play an important role in creating a memorable guest experience—because every detail matters

Public Area Attendant

Full-Time Position (40 hours)
