Job summary

A leading educational support provider is seeking Psychology Graduates for full-time Learning Support Assistant roles in London. You will assist primary pupils with a range of SEND needs, such as Autism and ADHD, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom setting. Training will be provided, so while prior experience is advantageous, it is not essential. Ideal candidates are adaptable and dedicated to supporting children's individual needs through one-to-one and group interactions. Competitive pay and term-time hours included.

Qualifications

Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant Primary SEND School Based in Kensington/Westminster Full-time. We are currently looking to recruit Psychology Graduates to work as full-time Learning Support Assistants within a SEND School in Central London. You will be supporting primary pupils with different SEND needs such as Autism, ADHD, complex needs. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This position will give anyone considering a future in teaching valuable classroom-based experience supporting children on a one-to-one and group basis. We are looking for individuals that are dedicated and keen to help children of different age groups and have the ability to adapt to their individual needs.

Job Requirements
  • Experience in supporting children or adults with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable but not essential
  • You must be comfortable with dealing with disruptive behaviours
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 3-5 days a week and able to commit to at least 3-6 months minimum
  • Willing to learn new skills and happy to complete training
