Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Wolverhampton area to support pupils with SEN. You will work with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver targeted interventions, run 1:1 sessions, and use visual supports and clear routines to help pupils access learning.

Ideal candidates hold a psychology degree (2:2 or above), have strong verbal and written communication, and can follow support plans with empathy and firmness. DBS required or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow support plans with patience and empathy.
• Experience working with children/ SEN experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEN.
• Provide 1:1 assistance and support to pupils during lessons.
• Use visual supports and clear routines to aid learning and engagement.
• Keep concise notes on impact and share next steps with staff and parents.
