Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton to support pupils with Autism, EBD and ADHD on a 1:1 and small group basis. You’ll work with the SENCO and teachers to implement tailored strategies and build core literacy and numeracy alongside communication and self-regulation skills.

Requirements include a 2:2 degree, strong communication, an Enhanced DBS (held or willing to obtain), and genuine interest in SEN and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Degree – 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Enhanced DBS – Held already or willing to obtain.
• Desire to work in education/with children – SEN, behaviour support and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support alongside the SENCO and class teachers.
• Break tasks into manageable steps and run short interventions to build literacy/numeracy and communication.
• Capture progress notes and agree next actions with staff and parents to keep support consistent.
