Psychologist (Clinical / Counselling) – ADI-R Specialist (Remote)

£800 per Assessment | Outside IR35 | Freelance / Contract

We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with specialist expertise in autism assessments to join our growing team on a flexible, remote-working basis.

You will play a key role in conducting comprehensive autism assessments, with a focus on using the ADI-R tool. This is a freelance opportunity offering £800 per assessment, with work completed outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review supporting documentation and background history
  • Conduct parent/carer consultation sessions
  • Administer and interpret the ADI-R interview
  • Lead multi-disciplinary team (MDT) case discussions
  • Provide clear, compassionate feedback to families and individuals

Requirements

  • HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Formally trained in the ADI-R with at least 2 years of active use
  • Proven experience working within autism diagnostic pathways
  • Strong report-writing skills and ability to communicate clinical findings clearly
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
