PSV Engineering Workshop Supervisor – Public Service Vehicle – BERKSHIRE – Permanent Position

£28.25 per hour

£58,760 per year

Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Workshop Supervisor - PSV Engineer / Mechanic based in BERKSHIRE.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of engineers and cleaning staff on shift.
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, and diagnostic work, resolving faults quickly and effectively.
  • Oversee all maintenance activity to ensure compliance with company policies and DVSA standards.
  • Manage workflow to maximise productivity and minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure accurate completion of all maintenance documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support when required.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practice.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to support training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified engineer with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or HGV maintenance.
  • Proven background in a supervisory or team leader role within a workshop or fleet maintenance setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of PCV systems and maintenance best practices.
