Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a General Manager for Mill Yard in Cambridge to oversee landlord operations and ensure best-in-class service delivery for a premier mixed-use campus. You will lead the on-site Community Facilities Coordinator and work closely with the PMA team and client representatives.

You will drive customer experience, budget discipline, health and safety, and continuous improvement across operations, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a track record of implementing client-focused activities.
• Strong management experience in a high-profile Grade A office environment.
• Experience mobilising a Grade A office building from pre-practical completion to BAU.
• Able to collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver a premium environment.
• Able to represent the Client’s interests at meetings and within the LaSalle community.
• Strong understanding of building design and base build management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate on-site operational management teams.
• Experience managing service charge budgets and major CAPEX projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and service charge management knowledge.
• Strong leadership and the ability to build and maintain a high-performing team.
• Accountable, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Support change initiatives and communicate at board level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site Mill Yard Management Team to deliver high service standards.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs for the PMA scope are met and drive service excellence.
• Coordinate with JLL PM Team, client, and tenants to align operational delivery.
• Manage service partner teams and optimise occupier satisfaction.
• Deliver best-practice health, safety, and environmental management across the property.
• Oversee budgets, service charges, and procurement in line with policies.
• Maintain knowledge of leases affecting property management responsibilities.
• Prepare and monitor service charge budgets and cash limits; report variances.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on asset enhancement projects and risk management.
• Support due diligence responses for disposals and lettings as required.
