Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Associate Leasing Manager for Build-to-Rent at Mill Yard, Cambridge. The role is site-based, delivery-focused, and involves managing the full lease-up of 70 BTR homes with a strong emphasis on occupancy targets and resident experience.

You will work closely with the Regional BTR Operations Manager and other stakeholders to ensure compliant tenancy processes, effective marketing strategies, and exceptional front-of-house service throughout the lease-up period.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leasing Build-to-Rent schemes at pace.
• Strong understanding of UK tenancy law, consumer rights, AML/KYC, and operational compliance in BTR structures.
• Commercially minded, delivery-focused and confident working autonomously.
• Professional, personable and credible with residents and stakeholders.
• Strong Cambridge and South-East residential market knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day leasing activity to achieve pre-let targets, occupancy levels and leasing velocity during mobilisation and lease-up.
• Produce daily reports on enquiries, viewings and offers; maintain a clear leasing pipeline.
• Conduct showings and viewings, selling units based on local market conditions.
• Oversee front-of-house presentation to deliver a welcoming service and seamless tenant journey from enquiry to check-in.
• Support leasing strategy with pricing, channel mix and cross-selling to office occupiers.
