A leading firm in Exeter is seeking a Property/Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their highly respected litigation team. This role offers a chance to work on challenging property-related disputes while enjoying strong support from senior colleagues. The firm values high-quality work and invests in the development of its staff, ensuring a rewarding career path.
We are offering the chance to apply for a role in our highly respected litigation team. The work is challenging and interesting and provides a real opportunity to develop the specialist skills which lead to a rewarding career.
We are a close knit, friendly team in which all members enjoy strong support from senior colleagues. We act for small and medium sized businesses, local/regional charities and regional/national housing associations as well as private individuals who are often owners of property or other substantial assets.
The primary focus of the role will be on property-related disputes, to include landlord and tenant matters. However, there may be some opportunity to undertake wider commercial litigation (to include insolvency and debt recovery that may flow from property matters). We offer encouragement and opportunity to develop and refine areas of specialism which are of interest to the firm and to you. Training is available.
The team enjoys high quality work including referrals from our commercial and residential property colleagues as well as from our sector teams: Charities, Residential and Holiday Parks and Residential Providers. The team also has a growing reputation amongst property agents, which is leading to an increase in external referrals.
You may be a newly qualified solicitor or have up to 5 years’ PQE. In addition to excellent client skills, you will demonstrate enthusiasm and a high level of commitment to your work. You’ll be keen to work alongside the team to develop our property litigation offering to the market.
We believe that our people are our most important asset, and are committed to supporting our teams, cultivating a healthy culture of challenge and expectation with support and care. We invest in our teams and our infrastructure to ensure that we attract and retain talented staff, and are committed to giving all colleagues the opportunity to reach their full potential, with a real focus on training and development.
Our values; high quality work, healthy growth and happy teams are at the heart of everything we do. Find out more about our vision and values, commitment to colleague wellbeing, and colleague benefits below.
