Qualifications

• Experience in an internal sales, technical sales or sales support role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and specifications.
• Commercially aware with the confidence to negotiate and influence.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage customer quotations in line with company procedures.
• Provide technical advice and product selection support to customers.
• Follow up quotations to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Communicate pricing, lead times and delivery information accurately.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Negotiate pricing within agreed authority levels while maintaining profitability.
• Work collaboratively with external sales colleagues to identify and develop sales opportunities.
• Liaise with manufacturing, supply chain and customer service teams to ensure orders progress smoothly.
• Maintain accurate records within CRM systems.
• Produce sales and quotation conversion reports.
• Ensure all processes comply with company and quality standards.
