Job summary

AVK UK Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer – Projects to support the sales of fabricated water fittings. You will provide technical advice, prepare quotes and drive conversions while coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain and service teams.

The role focuses on building customer relationships, managing quotations and reporting, with a collaborative approach across multiple departments in a dynamic environment at our Kilmarnock site.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal/technical sales or sales support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to understand technical products and specifications.
• Commercially aware with negotiation capability.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage customer quotations per procedures.
• Provide technical advice and product selection support.
• Follow up quotations to maximise conversions.
• Communicate pricing, lead times and delivery info.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Negotiate pricing within authority levels while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with external sales to develop opportunities.
• Liaise with manufacturing, supply chain and customer service
• Maintain CRM records and generate reports.
• Produce sales and quotation conversion reports.
• Ensure processes comply with standards.
