A government health agency in Leeds is seeking two Project Support Officers to assist in the delivery of IT projects. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, financial control, and stakeholder management. Success requires experience in project support, effective stakeholder engagement, and familiarity with project management standards. This role offers a salary of £41,075 and a hybrid working model.
We are currently looking for two Project Support Officers to join our Delivery Function within the Digital & Technology group.

The Digital and Technology Group (D&T) lies at the heart of the Agency and is responsible for delivering an optimised IT infrastructure and maximising the secure use of data to enable our scientists, inspectors, and the rest of the organisation to deliver world class services which can improve outcomes for patients and the general public. The Group was essential in the race to approve COVID-19 vaccines in 2020 and in supporting the UK to set up its own medicines and devices approvals systems following our exit from the EU. The Delivery function is responsible for providing a Delivery Centre of Excellence to drive a digital and technology-based change to deliver minimum viable products (MVP) and continuous improvements and managing all stages of the product development and implementation lifecycle, including, but not limited to, business case creation, benefits realisation planning, and management of risks.
Description
The post holder covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of the project's objectives and enables the smooth running of the project by supporting the project manager through the operation of project management processes, and the co-ordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf.
This job description is based on the equivalent role in the Project Delivery Capability Framework (PDCF) which describes the job roles, capabilities and learning for all Project Delivery Professionals across Government.
