Project Support Administrator

Location: Mid Kent

Schedule: Mon-Fri / 37.5 hours a week / 07.30-16.00

Type: Temporary with the potential to go Permanent

Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Project Support Administrator to join our rapidly growing client based in Mid Kent. This position will start out on a temporary basis with the opportunity for the right person to join their team permanently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start in project management. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic to learn and has an interest in working within the construction industry.

The candidate should demonstrate experience in a similar administration role, be proactive, and have a methodical approach. You will support the Project Manager(s) in ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the project manager(s)
  2. Working closely with internal stakeholders
  3. Ensuring invoices are accurate and processed timely
  4. Document control
  5. Maintaining project-related databases and updating systems with accurate information
  6. Direct procurement
Candidate requirements:
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential; entry-level candidates are also considered
  • Excellent administrative skills and highly organized
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office
  • Confidence in using Excel, including formulas and data input
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Proactive with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively
