Job summary

Gattaca is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple medium to large-scale engineering/offshore projects in the UK. You will develop robust plans, coordinate engineering, mobilisation, testing, logistics and offshore support to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in engineering, offshore, energy, manufacturing or related tech environment.
• Experience managing complex equipment projects including modification, testing, mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical handling equipment and project delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, develop project plans, and coordinate execution.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate teams and build relationships.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple medium and large-scale projects, achieving contractual, technical, commercial and operational objectives.
• Develop project plans, resources, schedules and timelines while proactively managing risks and milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics and offshore support.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing and forecasting; oversee change control processes.
• Escalate commercial, operational or project risks as appropriate.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, offshore personnel and stakeholders.
• Support client meetings, reviews and ongoing engagement; contribute to tender submissions and proposals.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, specs and tracking systems.
• Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback.
