Senior Offshore Project Manager

Job summary

Gattaca seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of engineering/offshore projects in the UK. You will develop plans, manage budgets, resources and schedules, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, testing, logistics, and offshore support to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to interpret technical specs while driving continuous improvement across project controls and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within engineering/offshore energy/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing complex equipment projects including modification, testing, mobilisation, and demobilisation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical handling equipment and project delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and coordinate project execution activities.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple medium and large-scale projects, ensuring objectives are met.
• Develop project plans, resources, schedules and timelines while managing risks and milestones.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics, and offshore support.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, forecasting, and change control processes.
• Escalate commercial, operational, or project risks where appropriate.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and tracking systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and offshore personnel.
• Support tender submissions and technical proposal development.
