Manchester City Council, Trafford Council and the NHS are working in partnership in Manchester and Trafford to design and deliver health and care services that help people lead healthier lives. Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisations (‘the LCOs’) have been established to bring community health and social care professionals together in the same organisations, working to a shared vision for better health and care services, and better health outcomes for people.
There are a range of transformation programmes and projects within the LCOs focussed on how we can make the most of our shared resources to transform how integrated health and care services are accessed and delivered.
Programme and project management roles play a vital role in delivering transformation in the LCOs. Transformation capacity is located within two teams: the Local Care Organisation’s Project Management Office and the Adults Social Care Transformation Team. Both teams work collaboratively across the LCOs Transformation Portfolio using a common LCO project methodology and approach to change management.
We are recruiting a Project Manager Level 3, a role critical to ensuring the successful delivery of the LCOs transformation portfolio. This is a senior project management role, responsible for developing, managing, and delivering complex, high value transformation work of strategic importance. This involves the management and coordination of resources within the PMO team and the wider LCOs, and the development and maintenance of effective relationships with colleagues inside and outside of the LCOs.
