Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee permanent multi-site retrofit works in the North West, with projects in Preston or Manchester. You will embed client requirements and manage complex streams including EWI, air source heat pump installations, windows, IWI and roofline works.

Applicants should have a strong background in social housing refurbishment, PAS knowledge, and hold CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and Driver's Licence are required.
• Experience in social housing refurbishment or decarbonisation.
• Knowledge of PAS regulations is preferred.
• Project management experience on multi-workstream sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Embedding the client requirements in every aspect of the project, offering added value and quality delivery.
• Assisting the Site Manager with on-site issues and coordinating trades.
• Regular liaison with the client to discuss progress and status.
• Participating in senior management meetings to update on site progression.
• Discussing build-ability and design issues with stakeholders.
• Managing and championing Health & Safety on site.
• Programming and planning all works and devising build programmes.
• Recruitment of staff and organising trades and labour.
• Ensuring KPI targets are achieved on all sites.

A well-established and rapidly expanding Social Housing Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The company have gone from strength to strength each year and have an exciting growth plan in place, with a healthy pipeline of work across the North West region.

The company specialise in retrofit and decarbonisation to tenanted Social Housing properties, with a goal to reduce fuel poverty and the carbon footprint.

They are a seeking a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, this will either be based on a site in Preston or in Manchester. Each project has several work streams within it and the company are completing various retrofit measures on each project. Typical works will consist of EWI, Air Source Heat Pump Installation, Windows and Doors, IWI, Roofline works.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

• Embedding the client's requirements in every aspect of the project, offering the clients added value to give them the assurance that they can trust the Contractor in providing a quality start-to-finish delivery
• Assisting the Site Manager with any problems or concerns on site
• Regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative
• Senior management meetings on progression of sites making sure directors are aware of each development
• Discussing build-ability and design issues
• Managing and championing Health & Safety
• Programming and planning all works
• Devising a build programme
• Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
• Ensuring KPI's are being achieved

The successful Project Manager must have:

• A strong background in the social housing refurbishment sector/decarbonisation sector with knowledge of working under PAS regulations.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Drivers License
