Job summary

West Yorkshire-based social housing contractor seeks a Projects Manager for a large Leeds-based retrofit scheme. You will lead client liaison, drive on-site delivery, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across EWI, air source heat pumps, windows, IWI, and roofline works.

Responsibilities include embedding client requirements, managing safety, planning activities, and reporting progress to senior management. Strong PAS regulatory knowledge and retrofit experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in social housing refurbishments or decarbonisation with PAS regulation knowledge.
• Retrofit experience
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and valid Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Embed the client's requirements in every aspect of the project and ensure quality start-to-finish delivery.
• Assist the Site Manager with on-site issues and concerns.
• Maintain regular liaison with the client and act as company representative.
• Attend senior management meetings to discuss progression of sites.
• Discuss build-ability and design issues with stakeholders.
• Manage and champion Health & Safety across the project.
• Program and plan all works and devise a build programme.
• Recruit staff and organise trades and labour to meet KPI targets.

Job description

A well-established and rapidly expanding Social Housing Contractor are currently looking to recruit a Projects Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The company have gone from strength to strength each year and have an exciting growth plan in place, with a healthy pipeline of work across the West Yorkshire region.

The company specialise in retrofit and decarbonisation to tenanted Social Housing properties, with a goal to reduce fuel poverty and the carbon footprint.

They are a seeking a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, this will be based on a large scheme across the Leeds area. The has several work streams within it and the company are completing various retrofit measures. Typical works will consist of EWI, Air Source Heat Pump Installation, Windows and Doors, IWI, Roofline works.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

• Embedding the client's requirements in every aspect of the project, offering the clients added value to give them the assurance that they can trust the Contractor in providing a quality start-to-finish delivery
• Assisting the Site Manager with any problems or concerns on site
• Regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative
• Senior management meetings on progression of sites making sure directors are aware of each development
• Discussing build-ability and design issues
• Managing and championing Health & Safety
• Programming and planning all works
• Devising a build programme
• Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour
• Ensuring KPI's are being achieved

The successful Project Manager must have:

• A strong background in the social housing refurbishment sector/decarbonisation sector with knowledge of working under PAS regulations.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Drivers License
• Retrofit experience
