Job summary

Foresight Search Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for social housing retrofit projects predominantly on-site in the Exeter area. You will manage day-to-day delivery, coordinate trades and ensure safety and quality across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have a PM or Site Manager background with refurbishment or social housing experience, managing subcontractors, strong organisation and communication skills, SMSTS and a full UK driving licence. Immediate start available.

Project Manager - Social Housing / Retrofit

Location: Exeter / Devon Salary: Circa £55,000 + company van + package Sector: Social Housing / Retrofit / Decarbonisation

Project Manager - The Company

An excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing specialist contractors operating within the social housing, energy efficiency and decarbonisation sectors.

The business delivers large-scale improvement and retrofit programmes for housing associations and public-sector clients across the UK, with a significant and growing pipeline of work across the South West.

Projects incorporate a broad range of works including external and internal improvements, insulation, roofing, windows and doors, ventilation, renewable technologies and wider energy-efficiency upgrades.

This would suit either an experienced Project Manager or a strong Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Project Manager - The Role

Based predominantly on site in the Exeter area, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of social housing improvement and retrofit works, coordinating multiple trades and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Project Manager - The Person

We are looking for someone with a strong construction delivery background who is comfortable managing busy, live sites.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager or experienced Site Manager
• A strong background in construction, refurbishment, maintenance or social housing
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and work packages
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS
• Full UK driving licence
• A proactive, hands‑on approach to project delivery

Previous social housing, planned maintenance, retrofit or decarbonisation experience would be advantageous but isn't essential for someone with the right site management background.
