Job summary

Optio Resourcing in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead retail fit-out schemes from pre-start through to handover. You will manage multi-project programmes, budgets, quality and safety, and act as the main client contact, delivering on time and within budget.

The role requires a proven track record in retail fit-out or shopfitting, strong leadership and communication skills, CSCS/SMSTS and First Aid, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• PM experience within retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors.
• Delivery on live-environment and new-build store projects.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and H&S procedures.

• Full project lifecycle management of retail fit-out and refurbishment schemes, from pre-start through to handover
• Managing programme, budget, quality and health and safety across multiple live projects
• Leading site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver on time and within budget
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and producing reports
• Overseeing variations, cost control and financial reporting alongside the commercial team
• Ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and company H&S procedures

The Candidate

• Proven Project Manager experience within retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors
• Strong track record of delivering live-environment and new-build store projects
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills
• Commercially aware, with experience managing project budgets
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
• Relevant degree or construction qualification (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
