Job summary

Optio Resourcing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-profile retail fit-out projects across Edinburgh and the surrounding area.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, lead site teams and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to safety standards. A driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven project manager experience within retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors.
• Strong client-facing skills and leadership to drive project teams.
• Experience delivering live environment and new-build store projects.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Proficient budgeting and cost control for multi-site programmes.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle management of retail fit-out and refurbishment schemes from pre-start to handover.
• Manage programme, budget, quality and health & safety across live projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver on time and within budget.
• Act as main client contact, attend progress meetings and produce reports.
• Oversee variations and financial reporting with the commercial team.
• Ensure CDM compliance and company H&S procedures.

Job Title: Project Manager - Retail Fit-Out

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Package

We're working with a leading retail fit-out contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-profile retail projects across [Location] and the surrounding area.

The Role

• Full project lifecycle management of retail fit-out and refurbishment schemes, from pre-start through to handover
• Managing programme, budget, quality and health and safety across multiple live projects
• Leading site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver on time and within budget
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, attending progress meetings and producing reports
• Overseeing variations, cost control and financial reporting alongside the commercial team
• Ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations and company H&S procedures

The Candidate

• Proven Project Manager experience within retail fit-out, shopfitting or commercial interiors
• Strong track record of delivering live-environment and new-build store projects
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills
• Commercially aware, with experience managing project budgets
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
• Relevant degree or construction qualification (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
