Project Manager - Civils

Location: Peterborough area
Employment Type: Permanent
Hybrid Working: Office, site and flexible working as required

Role Overview
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams from design through to construction, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Manage project scope, programme, risk, cost control and reporting to ensure consistent and efficient delivery.
  • Oversee site activities, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and operational teams to maintain fully integrated project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to drive collaborative progress.
  • Support continuous improvement, promoting best practice across project management processes.
About You
  • Proven experience managing projects within the water, utilities, or wider infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commercial and programme management capabilities, with the ability to prioritise and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a live construction environment.
  • Relevant project management or engineering qualifications (APM, PRINCE2, Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • SMSTS, CSCS and/or EUSR Water Hygiene desirable.
