24‑7 Staffing Limited is recruiting a Project Manager to oversee RC frame and groundworks on a major West Sussex site valued at £10–£15m. The contract role is day-rate and DOE.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage programmes, budgets and safety to deliver projects on time and to high standards.

Desirable qualifications include SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and a construction management degree.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major construction project in West Sussex.The successful candidate will have a strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) frame and groundworks, with a proven track record of managing construction projects valued between £10 million and £15 million.This opportunity would suit a technically experienced and commercially aware Project Manager who can confidently lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of RC frame and groundworks packages.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Develop, monitor and maintain project programmes to achieve key deadlines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and resources to maintain commercial performance.
• Liaise with Construction Managers, engineers, consultants and senior management.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout project delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in RC frame and groundworks.
• Demonstrable experience managing construction projects valued between £10m and £15m.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, project programming and site management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and project resources.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage project programmes, deadlines and competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications

• SMSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience delivering large-scale RC frame and groundworks projects.

Rate & Opportunities

£420–£440 per day, depending on experience.
