Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Building Services in Coventry. You will oversee projects from planning to completion, coordinating teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required standards.

The role focuses on building services, M&E, and construction with emphasis on programme management, cost control, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within building services, M&E, or construction.
• Strong project planning, programme management, and delivery experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Understanding of budgets, costs, contracts, and commercial considerations.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take responsibility for delivering projects across the building services sector.

Based in the Midlands, you’ll manage projects from planning through to completion, coordinating teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Develop and maintain programmes, budgets, and delivery plans.

About You

We’re looking for a commercially aware, organised, and proactive Project Manager with experience within building services.

You’ll be confident managing stakeholders, taking ownership of projects, resolving challenges, and driving delivery from start to finish.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven Project Management experience within building services, M&E, or construction.
• Strong project planning, programme management, and delivery experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Understanding of budgets, costs, contracts, and commercial considerations.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

Desirable:

Relevant project/construction qualification and experience in M&E, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or wider building services.
