Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to deliver commercial and industrial building services projects from pre-start through to handover on Midlands-based schemes. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget across refurbishments and new-builds, with typical values from £500k to £5m.

Key duties include planning programmes, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, controlling costs, and reporting progress while upholding

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services.
• Experience delivering commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• SMSTS / CSCS (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Planning programmes, labour, and procurement.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Managing cost control, variations, and progress reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality, and technical standards.

A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team.

The business delivers commercial and industrial building services projects across the Midlands, working on a mix of refurbishments and new-build schemes, with project values typically ranging from £500k to £5m.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.

• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
