Job summary

Think Recruitment in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Project Manager for fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial, healthcare and education sectors. You will take responsibility from pre-start through completion, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

The role requires proven PM experience in construction or fit-out, strong commercial and contractual awareness, and the ability to manage subcontractors and multiple priorities. SMSTS/CSCS is preferred.

Project Manager - Fit-Out & Refurbishment

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to 55,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance
Job Type: Full-time

We are a growing fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering projects across the commercial, healthcare and education sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Birmingham team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from start to finish.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams.
• Develop and monitor project programmes.
• Manage client relationships and attend project meetings.
• Monitor costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Manage health & safety, quality, risks and project documentation.
• Oversee snagging, completion and handover.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or fit-out.
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, education or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple projects/priorities.
• SMSTS and CSCS preferred.
