Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Network Control team in the UK. You will lead the project lifecycle from business case approval to closure and review, and craft plans with input from Designers and D&B Contractors, stepping in as NEC Project Manager when delegated.

You’ll coordinate internal and external stakeholders, contribute to business case submissions, and oversee financial forecasting and budget allocation to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project teams from business case to closure.
• Strong budgeting and financial forecasting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project team and lifecycle from business case approval to closure and review.
• Create project plan with input from Designer and the appointed D&B Contractor; perform NEC Project Manager duties when delegated.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and governance submissions; ensure robust financial forecasting and budget allocation.
