Job summary

Avove in Derby is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Severn Trent Water Framework. You will oversee projects from design through construction and commissioning, applying strong leadership and commercial awareness to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.

The role requires experience in clean water infrastructure, NEC contract management, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering and environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large, complex clean water pipeline projects.
• Strong background in construction and project management with PMQ knowledge.
• Proven track record managing NEC contracts and commercial performance.
• Experience delivering linear works in challenging environments.
• Expertise in trenchless technologies and pipeline interfaces.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant delivery of Avove projects.
• Apply project management fundamentals to govern lifecycle (scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality).
• Manage project performance under NEC contracts including cost forecasting and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams across engineering, commercial, environmental, delivery.
• Oversee delivery of linear infrastructure across rural corridors with constraints.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with landowners, regulators, local authorities, and utilities.
• Drive programme certainty, productivity, and quality, delivering on time and budget.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance.
