Job summary

Severn Trent Water is recruiting a Project Engineer in the Network Control department. You will lead the project team and lifecycle from business case approval to closure, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and quality.

Responsibilities include scoping, planning with designers and contractors, managing stakeholders, and delivering robust financial forecasts while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading project teams and managing project lifecycle.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project team and lifecycle from business case to closure.
• Scope and create project plans with input from designers and contractors.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and prepare Business Cases for governance boards.
• Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and robust project cost control.
• Facilitate issue resolution with external bodies and ensure compliance with safety rules.
