Job summary

Omexom UK, part of VINCI Energies, is seeking a Project Engineer to join Omexom Engineering. You will work with Design Engineers to deliver HV/substation projects safely and efficiently across the UK and Ireland.

The role requires traveling to client sites, coordinating design activities, managing costs and programme delivery, and providing technical support to the engineering team. Doncaster-based with UK travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience and ability to address performance issues.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to report on targets.
• Sound knowledge of electrical infrastructure, safety rules and UK CDM regulations.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Exceptional customer focus and adaptability to values.
• Willingness to align with company values.
• Experience with contract terms and conditions.
• Good understanding of power networks.

Responsibilities

• Work with Design Engineers to deliver HV substation projects safely and efficiently.
• Represent Omexom with stakeholders and clients.
• Coordinate design activities, resources, materials and equipment.
• Assist with programme development and resource planning.
• Assist with tendering and bid returns under timescales.
• Support all site and client interfaces and meetings.
• Manage project costs and income to meet commercial targets.
• Provide technical support to the engineering team and seek improvements.
