Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking an Operations Manager – Substations to lead major project delivery, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure KPI attainment across sites. The role reports to the Business Unit General Manager and requires strong leadership, financial acumen and customer focus.

The successful candidate will oversee resource planning, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvements while ensuring safety and compliance. Travel to Omexom sites in Scotland is expected.

Qualifications

• Commercially focused self-starter with the enthusiasm, motivation and initiative to succeed in this role.
• Significant and relevant experience in a Programme/Project Management role.
• Experience in a substation construction environment.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills with ability to manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery teams and manage resources across on-site and off-site.
• Support Project Managers during delivery and resolve escalations.
• Represent the unit in client meetings and project reviews.
• Monitor KPIs and drive productivity improvements.
• Recruit, develop and retain staff to meet growth targets.
