Job summary

An international construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Greater London. The role involves sourcing and negotiating quotations, preparing claims, and assisting the Project Manager with contract administration. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Source and obtain quotation, including negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Analyse and evaluate prices for comparison and budget costing summary reporting
  • Liaise with consultants and prepare main progress claim / payment and variation order claim
  • Process progress payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist Project Manager on contract administration including maintaining site records for EOT claims and variation works
  • Other quantity surveying related duties as assigned
Requirements
