We have a role open for BMS Project Engineer who will work with the project team to deliver projects to Client requirements, on time and on budget. This is a varied role, that will offer a different working day one to the next, predominantly in London and surrounding counties. You'll have an opportunity to manage many exciting projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and costs.

How you will do it

The role involves managing projects from initial handover to completion, ensuring a seamless lifecycle. Part of the role will be to prepare and submit the programme of works at the outset, with regular updates to reflect actual and projected progress.

The role also includes the creation of project-related documentation and the distribution of all necessary documents to relevant parties, securing approval from the Client or their representative.

Collaboration with panel manufacturers and electrical installers is essential to ensure that all work aligns with E2 Services Ltd (Johnson Controls subsidiary) and Client requirements. Additionally, the role involves configuring software strategies or coordinating with other E2 Services Limited engineers to ensure software configuration aligns with the Description of Operation.

Supervising graphics creation when necessary, providing support to site commissioning engineers and the maintenance department, and carrying out commissioning works on live sites are key responsibilities. Finally, the role includes organising handovers and demonstrations upon project completion.

What we are looking for

  • We are looking for candidates proficient with either Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Johnson Controls Metasys or Easy IO and have at least 5 years’ experience

  • Good understanding of the control applications and mechanical principles

  • Be able to understand and implement the latest networking protocols and possess a good understanding of IT principles

  • Preferably the right candidate will have come from an electrical background or have experience of working with live systems
