Qualifications

Project Electrician

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Electrician to work across commercial projects in high-profile, occupied buildings. The role involves installing, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical systems, including lighting and small power, while ensuring safety standards and regulations are met.

This position is well-suited to a technically skilled, client-facing electrician with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to deliver high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • Carry out site surveys independently or with clients to assess requirements.
  • Provide professional assessments and feedback to project managers and clients.
  • Work with lighting control systems (e.g., Dali, Exor).
  • Ensure compliance with IEE regulations, NICEIC standards, and inspection/testing requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality work to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
  • Recognised electrical qualifications: City & Guilds 2360/2382 and 18th Edition.
  • Testing & Inspection qualification (C&G 2391 desirable).
