Project Co-ordinator
Leicestershire

Our Leicester-based clients, who work with UK-based clients manufacturing and supplying timber doors, are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join their team in a full-time, permanent role. While the Project Coordinator won't need to have specific knowledge of timber doors, they should possess transferable skills, as they will support project managers and act as a link between clients, the internal sales team, and other departments. Ideally, candidates should be familiar with administration and manufacturing/production environments.

Initially, the role will focus on Project coordination, with hands-on training provided to enable progression into a future project management role. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are important.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator
  1. Providing support to project managers from initial order to delivery.
  2. Liaising between the sales team, project managers, production team, and customers.
  3. Preparing production schedules aligned with customer requirements.
  4. Entering project orders into the software system and maintaining records.
  5. Working with the purchasing team to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  6. Dealing directly with customers via email and phone calls.
  7. Performing project-specific and administrative tasks as required.
Key Skills of the Project Coordinator
  1. Good administration and IT skills (Outlook, Excel, in-house systems).
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  3. Organized, with the ability to retain and update project information.
  4. Team player, supportive of other departments.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  6. Enthusiastic, eager to learn and take on more responsibility.

This is a full-time, office-based role. Candidates must currently reside or work in Leicestershire. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
